Lindsay Blackett is a successful entrepreneur and executive in the software and hardware section of the electronics industry with over three decades of diverse professional experience. Throughout his phenomenal career, he has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication, and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
Drawing upon his extensive experience and expertise in the field as well as his outstanding business acumen. Lindsay is currently CEO, Peakterra Ventures Inc., an integrated management, business incubator and holding company in the Plants Sciences and Agtech space. Lindsay previously was V.P. Business Development, Ncite Neuromedia focusing on new markets for education gamification. Lindsay is former CEO of Chiniki First Nation for two years in which he oversaw administration of 32 programs including, housing, economic development and education. Lindsay also has 15 years of experience is the Electronic Hardware Distribution industry in Montreal. Seattle and Calgary in positions from product marketing specialist, Branch Product Manager, technical sales and sales management.
Prior to establishing his own consultancy in October of 2012, Mr. Blackett spent over four years as a Member of The Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary North West. He also recently spent almost four years as Minister of Culture and Community Spirit for the Government of Alberta.
With a vast array of knowledge and experience Lindsay is focusing on ways to educate companies and organizations on transformational change that allows them and their work force to plan for the challenges and opportunities for the years ahead. His fifteen years of helping customers develop electronic products from concept, prototyping, pre-production to production forecasting, supply chain management and distribution.
